Herald subscriptions

Subscriptions, but not creepy.

Herald groups are opt-in. No owner can add you to a list by hand. You subscribe yourself from an in-world kiosk, and you can manage or leave your subscriptions yourself.

Find the HUD or get a fresh copy

Find the HeraldSubscriberHUD in your inventory, or get a fresh free copy on the Second Life Marketplace or from the in-world store, so we know who you are.

Add the HUD

Add the HUD in Second Life, click Manage, and log into the site to manage your subscriptions.

Consent rules

No group owner can add residents by hand. People join themselves, and they can leave themselves. Group staff and Herald support can remove someone when they ask, but the normal path is self-service.

For group owners

A clear unsubscribe path protects the audience and the sender. It keeps notices welcome, makes complaints easier to resolve, and turns consent into a visible part of the Herald brand.
